Everyone knows the beloved rodent Mickey Mouse created by none other than the famous Walt Disney. We have all loved him at one point or another since he was brought to life around 1928 and have seen him go from his black and white silent short films to the recent bright Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We also know of his five best friends Minnie, Goofy, Daisy, Donald and Pluto, but did you know Mickey Mouse almost wasn't his name? At one point it was said that Walt Disney's original name for Mickey was Mortimer. Whew, that was a close one! Not so cute and silly as Mickey!

Do you like strawberries? Well people in Belgium sure do! They even have a museum dedicated to the delicious fruit! The Strawberry Museum, made up of five rooms teaching the history and the process of the growth of the strawberries, is located next to the Meuse and is available to the public.

Tigers, the wild cats loved from afar. They are best known for their beautiful stripes that cover their majestic bodies.

Did you know that the tigers' stripes are not only on their fur but as well as on their skin? Yeah, it comes from deep within!

According to wonderful history, around 1881, a dentist who went by the name of Dr. Albert Southwick saw an elder man die on the spot from touching an electrical generator in New York. He believed because it looked fast and painless it was a humane idea for the death penalty. He then told a friend - a senator - about his observation and thoughts on how it could be a good substitution for hanging.
